Julie Young

  • Head Coach, Villanova University
    • Led Wildcats in 2015 to its first post-season berth in 10 years, marking the program’s steady and continuing rise to prominence.
    • Coached multiple players to Big East Conference honors and guided Villanova as Host Institution for the 2013 NCAA Women’s Lacrosse National Championship.
  • Former Head Coach, Haverford College
    • Built perennial Centennial Conference contender in 3 seasons as head coach; Centennial Conference Coach of the Year (2009).
    • Led 2010 team to 13-5 record — the highest single-season wins total in Haverford women’s lacrosse history, and earned program’s first berth in conference tournament.
  • Former Assistant Coach, University of Pennsylvania
    • Helped transform the Quakers into 2x Ivy League Champions; guided team to an NCAA Division I Championship Game appearance in 2008.
    • Coached 7 All-Americans; served as recruiting coordinator and chief scout; planned practices and developed game strategies that propelled the team to 5 consecutive winning seasons and 73-42 overall mark.
  • Princeton University
    • Lacrosse: 4x All-Ivy, 3x Brine/IWLCA All-American, Captain and Tewaaraton Trophy finalist.
    • Soccer: 4x All-Ivy, 2x Captain, 3x Team MVP, 3x Mid-Atlantic Regional All-American
    • C. Otto von Kienbusch Award Winner as Princeton’s Sportswoman of the Year.
